Dear LBSIM Alumnus,

As the wheel of time turns, a new and promising chapter in human history unfolds and ushers in new hopes and aspirations. Human consciousness must break with the past to bring in new order so as to obtain a new view of life, a new vision. The year 2010 heralded a new hope for the LBSIM family to explore and sustain the world of change.

LBSIM is undergoing metamorphosis now…the campus has shifted to Dwarka in June, 2010; yet another milestone achieved in the history of LBSIM since its inception in 1995. As future comes one day at a time, being receptive and adaptable to change becomes imperative. The initial journey of change is like a roller-coaster ride which can be merrily sailed through with a strong bond and deep-rooted foundation of values.

Through out the movement of time implying change, freedom and discipline remain the two poles of human thought and practice. Adaptability can only make the value of these two concepts permanent. Every individual associated with LBSIM has to act as harbinger of change and positive energy, which brings about transformation in self, society and nation.

A Chinese proverb says: `One generation opens up the road on which the next generation travels.’ The same is witnessed in the life of an institution; people change, places change but each moment goes forward on the foundation laid by the one before; the foundation of moral ethics, values and simplicity, a hallmark of LBSIM…
